Anonymous asked: I am wondering what time of the day most of these gigs need to be performed? I am a stay at home Mom and I see this as a great gig to do while kids are at school from 9:30AM till 2:30PM. Do these hours work for most things posted or are evening / week-end hours needed? Also - how long does a gig take until your finished?
Anonymous asked: Can I take a pic by a digital camera or another device and upload by iphone?
Anonymous asked: I submitted a gig for streetcred and it got rejected due to the client not being able to access my Photosynth account. I submitted my username, not my Live ID, so I don't know why they couldn't access it. Is there any way I can resubmit my Photosynth username for them to try again? I'm too far away to retry the gig completely (if it would even let me).

Car Dealership Gig Tips
Some tips from a fellow Gigwalker. Thanks! And here you go, everyone:
I asked for some tips, but now that I’ve done a couple car dealership gigs, I have some suggestions.
Be very mindful of what’s going on around you. It would be almost impossible to write down all of the responses while you’re actually doing the gig, so try to remember as much detail as you can while...

Anonymous asked: Has anyone done a car dealership gig yet? I'm gearing up (no pun intended) to do some next week and have yet to see any tips regarding them. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
Anonymous asked: Question regarding taking MENU pictures from a take-out menu at a location different from the restaurant. You wrote as a tip: "With a takeout menu, you can retreat to yon local Starbucks, ATM vestibule or other quiet well-lit place to take your menu pictures at your leisure."
How close do you need to be to the restaurant to take pictures? I know that the photos are...

Verizon- Android vs iPhone gig tips
The are fun easy gigs. You dont need to check in or announce yourself. You’ll need 4 pics of iphone display, 4 of android display, answer some questions, get some outside window shots and your done. The biggest tip on this one is to start your timer in the last question right away. I didn’t notice it until I was done with everything else my first time, as it was the last question...

Anonymous asked: How often are new gigs added?
Anonymous asked: Just starting to use the app. How do I earn Streetcred initially when every gig requires Streetcred to do the gig?
Looked through the archive but didn't see any responses.

Anonymous asked: All the gigs in my area require streetcred. Are there gigs that do not require street cred? How can I get a gig that only pays $2.50 and only requires 10 creds?

Boutique gigs
Boutique gigs are pretty quick and easy. You only need a few pictures outside, a few pictures of items you like, and a few picture of you in jeans or a skirt…. so it looks like this is not a gig for the men gigwalkers for the most part ;) I have found with boutiques they can have funky hours. In San Diego some are not open at all on Monday and most do not open early. If doing a boutique...

thechrisfaceproject asked: I just did two of my first hotel Gigs yesterday. I was taken aback because unlike the other gigs, these gigs ask that you take the photos with your phones camera not with in the Gigwalk app and that you upload them onto a site called Gogobot.com. I was able to write the 300+ word review the gig asked for for each hotel, however I cant not find for the life of me where I can upload photes as the...
Street Gigs
These are fun, quick and easy :) Try your best to be as descriptive as possible. Include street signs showing addess’, or the one way signs if that is what they are looking for. Also, if you cant include something showing you are address requested put it in the text that you are at they exact location, include as much as you can about direction like west, east of, inside or outside of a...
Anonymous asked: I'll be doing my first hotel gig today. I have read the tips here about them. I dont see a task listed where I would need a room shot. Is this inside the task of getting pictures of "view from hotel"? If not I would think I could get the rest easily accpet maybe the gym (if they have one). Just try to decide whether to ask or not.

Cafe' Tips
I find the Cafe or coffee shop gigs to be more difficult than the restaurant gigs. While I find I can zip in and out of a restaurant the cafe’s require alot of photos inside. Early on I was denied taking photos in one and had to abandon so now I always ask first. They dont typically have menus so you must get 4 good shots of their menu board which is often behind the counter and hard to...
Anonymous asked: Not sure this is a question. More of feedback for Andrew and Jenzi who did an incredible job pulling this together. Wow -- is all I got to say.
